Something totally different today – to celebrate the new Iron Maiden documentary film Flight 666, we’ve put together this special edition of TPN Rock, with interviews, music and features from the film. There’s very little music (Normal service will be resumed shortly) but if you have a chance to see this on Iron Maiden day (21st April) at one of 400 screens around the world, do so. Having seen a preview, it’s fantastic!

It’s also the film that might just convince me to go Blu-ray for the home video version!

I had the honor of speaking with vocalist Jeff Hawks on the phone and bassist Bruce Hauser in the chat room about the self-titled album Touch, which was released in 1969 and is one of the first albums that laid the groundwork of what we now know as progressive rock. Touch has been lauded by many prog legends as an inspiration, yet nearly nothing is known about this band. You will hear an exploration of the band's roots, the process of making the album, and what happened to the band after they released what was to be their only album.  It's the 40th anniversary of Touch, let's celebrate this prog milestone!
